I've been to Stella Sola. While I didn't get the steak, the most memorable part of the meal was the SHEER LOUDNESS in there. There are mostly only hard surfaces, the tables are very close together and the space reverbates sound. It was very unpleasant - I couldn't hear myself think.

I knew Alberto Baffoni when he was at Simposios, helped him with his computer some, he fed me some of the best food I've eaten. I'd heard he was catering, I'm getting married - any idea how to reach him or if he's still in Houston?

I am an Amsterdam native, and I can inform all you naive tourists that Chipsy King is NOT the best place to go for chips (or fries) in Amsterdam, not by far. There are much better places here, but they're non-commercial. It's a fun challenge for tourists to find them, I bet. :P

Wow. I just got back from Sydney and did partake in these wonderful snacks. Funny thing is I also have a Bearded Papa's Cream puff in San Fran a few months ago. Both are out of this world when it comes to custard style cream puffs.
