Doc: I have not been to Clifton Inn, but I hear it’s a solid restaurant if not a destination in it’s own right.

Nice post and great list. I love that Chilhowie Trail. I’m hoping to head down it again myself, sometime this year. Have you been to the Clifton inn in Charlottesville?

Great list – was lucky enough to eat at Roberta’s and Saison’s kitchen tables this year and both were mindblowing experiences, particularly the aged meats.

Great site, as well.

i hate that every other thing you say is an internet meme.

also what does this mean? “I expected Mission Chinese to the ironic take on an Americanized Chinese restaurant – a San Francisco answer to Torrisi.” torrisi is not an ironic take on anything.. it’s actually italian american food done well.
